BRCA 1&2 Somatic Gene

The BRCA1&2 Somatic Gene test analyses tumor tissue by a FFPE Tissue Block (Formalin Fixed Paraffin Embedded Tissue Block) to detect mutations in BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes acquired during a person’s lifetime, which are linked to an increased risk of certain cancers like breast and ovarian cancer. This test aids in tailoring targeted therapies. Please note that the FFPE Tissue Sample must be collected by your doctor for this test.
