A CECT triple phase whole abdomen scan uses nuclear medicine imaging and a special three-phase evaluation to assess the upper abdomen and the whole body. By injecting a radioactive tracer, this test helps doctors detect, stage, or monitor treatment for conditions like cancers, infections, and heart diseases.

Test Preparation:

4-6 hours of fasting required. Blood test report for Urea and Creatinine is mandatory. Blood sugar must be less than 150 mg/dL at the time of testing. Avoid excess sugar, starch, or alcohol the night before, and abstain from smoking for 3 days prior to the test.
